  1. new

Discord roles follow your yen.bio status

    • If you link Discord, the server can now give you roles that match your yen.bio account: Verified, Premium, staff roles and badges like OG or Early Supporter. They update automatically when your status changes, and /verify in the server refreshes them on demand.
  2. fixed

Profiles scroll after the entry screen, and Messages shows new messages

    • On some profiles the page stayed locked after tapping through the entry screen, so anything below the first screen was cut off. It scrolls normally now.
    • The Messages item in the dashboard sidebar now shows how many unread messages you have, updates live, and clears as you read.
  3. fixed

    Video backgrounds play everywhere

    • Video backgrounds now start reliably on iPhone and iPad, and show their first frame instead of black when the phone is in Low Power Mode.
    • Videos saved in HEVC (the iPhone "High Efficiency" format) could play the sound but no picture on many computers. Uploading one now explains how to save it as H.264, which plays everywhere.
  4. new

Nine new entrances, and smoother old ones

    • New card entrances: Rise, Focus (a camera focus pull), Drop, Zoom Out, Unfold, Curtain, plus Premium Iris (a circle opening from the center), Sweep (a glowing diagonal wipe) and Warp. Find them in Customize, then Effects, then Entrance.
    • Every entrance now shares one smooth easing, slides travel less and soften in from a blur, Flip turns in real 3D, Pulse glows instead of drawing a box, and Matrix rain uses your accent color.
    • New Entrance speed setting (50–200%) to play your entrance faster or slower. The old Animation speed slider is now called Text effect speed, since that is what it controls.
  5. better

    Domain Legend now comes automatically

    • Connect your own domain and finish setting up its DNS, and you get the Domain Legend badge automatically. It is awarded once the domain shows as verified in Settings, and you keep it if you remove the domain later.
  6. fixed

    Chats show display names

    • Group chat titles, message senders and "added/removed" notices now use each person's display name instead of the name they signed up with.
  7. new

Mention people in group chats, and see who joins or leaves

    • In a group chat, type @ to pick someone from the group and mention them. Mentions are highlighted, and a message that mentions you gets a blue outline.
    • Your chat list shows a blue @ on any group where someone mentioned you.
    • The chat now tells you when someone is added, removed or leaves, for example "Alex added Sam" or "Kit left the group".
  8. better

Safer group chats and custom CSS

    • Group chats are more private: you only receive live messages for chats you are actually in, and being removed from a group cuts you off within minutes.
    • Custom CSS can no longer place a clickable fixed layer over the whole page or sit on top of the yen.bio controls. Decorative fixed layers that cannot be clicked (glows, backgrounds) still work.
  9. better

Harder to fake views, and real referrers

    • A profile view now only counts from a page that was really opened and left open, so scripts that post fake views no longer move your view count or the leaderboard.
    • Analytics now records where visitors really came from (the site that linked to you) instead of always showing your own page.
  10. fixed

    Font weights now actually change

    • With Syne, Outfit, Playfair Display, Geist Mono and Space Grotesk, Regular and Medium used to look identical, and so did Bold and Black. Each weight is now its own thickness.
    • A few fonts only come in one or two thicknesses (Instrument Serif, Space Mono, Pixelify Sans), so some weights still look the same on those.
  11. better

Long badge collections fold up neatly

    • If you have a lot of badges, profiles now show the first 8 and a small "+N" pill instead of a huge block of icons. Tap it to see them all, tap "Less" to fold them back up.
  12. fixed

Fixed an error when opening Templates

    • Opening the Templates gallery no longer throws a page error, and the "Since" date on profiles now shows the same month for everyone regardless of their timezone.
  13. new

Add people to a group chat, and remove them from old ones

    • You can now add people to a group chat after it is made: open the chat menu, tap Manage Members and search by username. New people can read the earlier messages but will not see them as unread.
    • Members are shown with an Owner tag. The owner can remove people (this now works in group chats made before owners were tracked too), and anyone can leave.
  14. better

    A clearer, easier-to-read dashboard

    • Secondary text and small labels across the dashboard are brighter and slightly larger, so they are easier to read on the dark background.
    • Cards now have a soft highlight and shadow so they stand out from the page, and keyboard focus is clearly outlined.
  15. fixed

Settings header shows your display name

    • The account card at the top of Settings now shows your display name instead of your sign-up name, and lines up neatly with your picture. The message box text is also centered.
  16. better

    A cleaner PayPal checkout

    • The PayPal subscribe buttons are now rounded and black to match the rest of the checkout, and the confusing PayPal Credit button is gone. Paying by card is still there.
  17. better

Messages: real read receipts, edit, and safer group chats

    • Your sent messages now show a single check when delivered and a blue double check only once the other person has actually read them.
    • You can edit your own messages (hover one and tap the pencil). Messages show instantly as you send them, and if one fails you get a Retry button instead of it silently vanishing.
    • Starting a new chat now opens an empty conversation so you can write your own first message, instead of sending a wave for you.
    • Archive a chat to tuck it away; find it under Archived, and it comes back on its own when someone writes to you. Archived chats no longer add to your unread badge, and the badge no longer counts your own messages.
    • The chat itself is smoother: messages animate in, runs of messages from one person are grouped, you get a "new messages" button instead of being yanked to the bottom, loading shows placeholders, and you can filter your chat list.
    • Only a group's owner can remove members, and anyone can leave a group. Groups are capped at 20 people, and the typing indicator no longer gets stuck.
  18. new

    Subscribe to Premium with PayPal

    • You can now get Premium with a monthly or yearly PayPal subscription from the Shop. It renews automatically, and you can cancel any time from the Premium page.
    • If you cancel, you keep the Premium you already paid for until it runs out. Crypto payments work as before and never renew.
  19. new

Eight new name effects, livelier old ones, and a new cursor

    • New name and bio effects: Gold (polished metal with a slow glint), Frost (icy letters with drifting glitter) and Decode (your name scrambles into cipher characters, then locks in). Pick them in Extras → Effects → Name effect.
    • Five new Premium effects: Galaxy (a nebula with twinkling stars inside the letters), Plasma (crackling electricity), Hologram (a flickering projection with a rolling scan band), Synthwave (80s sunset chrome) and Diamond (every letter a cut gem that flashes in turn).
    • Static now looks like real TV static boiling inside your letters, and Neon, Chrome, Outline, Cyber and Sparkles all move now instead of sitting still.
    • Cursor effects are rebuilt to be smoother. They start right at your pointer, fade out when it leaves the page, and the Cursor card has a live preview so you can try each one before you save. New: Petals and Smoke.
  20. better

    Messages use your page picture

    • Inbox search and conversations now show the picture from someone’s yen.bio page (or a generated fallback) instead of only their sign-in photo.

  1. better

Style your Telegram card with custom CSS

    • Telegram cards now have class names (.yen-tg, .yen-tg-avatar, .yen-tg-title, .yen-tg-count, .yen-tg-join and more) so your custom CSS can restyle the card, its picture, name, member count and Join button. They are listed in the Custom CSS help page.
  2. new

Steam, Twitch and YouTube channel cards

    • Steam card: your avatar and name, whether you are online or in a game right now, and the games you played in the last two weeks (those show when your Steam profile and game details are public).
    • Twitch card: your avatar and name with a LIVE badge, the stream title, game and viewer count while you are streaming, and a Watch button.
    • YouTube channel card: your channel name and your newest one to three uploads with thumbnails, updating by itself when you post.
    • Add any of them from Your links with your profile link, channel link or username.
  3. new

A GitHub card for your page

    • Add a GitHub card from Your links with your username or profile link. It shows your avatar, name, followers, public repositories and total stars, plus your three most-starred repositories (you can switch that off), with a View Profile button.
  4. new

Add a passkey from your dashboard

    • If your account has no passkey yet, the dashboard now offers to add one in a single click, so you can sign in with Touch ID, Windows Hello or your phone instead of a password. Press Not now and it stays hidden for 30 days.
  5. fixed

    Forgot password link works again

    • The Forgot password link on the login page now responds when you click it.
  6. new

More Discord badges, and server badges

    • In your Discord status block, pick the badges Discord does not share with websites, like Nitro, server boosting, gifting, Quest and your unique username, and they show next to your name with the rest of your badges.
    • Discord server blocks have a new Show server badges switch: Partner, Verified, Community, Discoverable and Boost Level 2 or 3 appear next to the server name when the server has them.
  7. fixed

Telegram emoji status shows in colour

    • Your Telegram emoji status and gifts in the badge row now keep their real colours instead of showing as a plain white shape, and the tooltip reads properly.
  8. new

Discord badges on your status card

    • Turn on Show my Discord badges in your Discord status block and your Discord badges, like HypeSquad and Active Developer, appear as icons next to your name.
  9. better

Animated Telegram emoji status and gifts

    • Your Telegram emoji status and gifts now move on your page, the same as in Telegram. Press Refresh gifts in Settings to update them.
  10. new

    Link your Telegram account

    • Settings → Telegram gifts has a new Link Telegram button. Press it, then Start in the yen.bio bot, and your Telegram emoji status and gifts can show as badges and next to your name on Telegram blocks.
    • You choose what shows, and you can unlink any time. Press Refresh gifts to pick up changes.
