page 6 of 22, going back to october 23, 2026.

october 24, 2026

  1. new

See your page the way others do

    • In Settings, next to who can open your page, pick "see your page as" a stranger, a follower or a friend.
    • Your page opens exactly as they'd get it, locked screen and all, with a little bar to switch between them or stop previewing.
  2. fixed

    Smoother chats, calls that connect

    • Typing in chats no longer lags, and the reply box slides up smoothly. The Halloween fog and bats stay out of chats now, where they were slowing things down.
    • Voice calls no longer get stuck on "connecting" in chats where someone had Listen Together open.
    • In the desktop app on Mac, the call button and everything else along the top of the window can be clicked again.

  1. new

    Content warnings for your page

    • Add a content warning in the editor (the Content warning card, next to Browser tab), like "flashing lights, loud music".
    • Visitors see it before your page, its music and effects, and choose to continue or go back. They're only asked once per visit.
  2. better

A new look when you share yen.bio

    • Links to yen.bio now show momo waving hello among a post, a chat, a Space and friends listening together, so people can see it's a place to hang out, not just a link page.
  3. better

    Prettier yen.bio cards in Discord

    • /profile, /me and /random in Discord now show a drawn stat card in the page's own colours: picture, name, leaderboard spot, views, badges, links, how long they've been here and their page song.
    • /random now picks the same way the site's random button does, so it only lands on public pages people have chosen to show in Explore.
    • Pages set to followers, friends or just you no longer show their bio or links through the Discord bot.
  4. fixed

    Star catch works again

    • The stars in momo's star catch game now fall all the way down the room, so you can actually catch them.
  5. better

    crests got a new look

    • Space crests are now little shields in the crest's colour, with its icon set into them, worn next to your name on the feed.
    • Hovering a crest shows a new card: the Space's banner, or its colour patterned with the crest's icon, plus a big emblem and a button tinted to match.
    • Space owners get a live preview while editing the crest: how it looks on a post and the card people see, with icons sorted into groups.
  6. new

    momo's postcards

    • momo now sends you a painted postcard every day from wherever she wandered off to. Open your mailbox in Dashboard > Postcards.
    • There are 24 to collect, from common to legendary, each one a hand-painted scene with a note from momo on the back. Already have the day's card? You get coins instead.
    • Send a spare to a friend (momo lets them know in your DMs), or pin up to three on your page for visitors to see.
    • Momo's room, her diary and RPG battle status now use drawn icons instead of emoji.
  7. new

    momo's room

    • Your Momo has a room now: a window that follows your time of day, fairy lights, her bowl and bed. She wanders about, sleeps in bed when tucked in, and tells you what she wants in a thought bubble.
    • Tap her to give her pets. Feeding, playing and naps all get their own little reactions.
    • Star catch: a quick mini-game when you play. Every four stars you catch adds a little bond.
    • Her diary keeps the last things you (and your co-parent) did together, and new room wallpapers unlock as she levels up.
  8. better

Your Discord status shows what you're listening to

    • In the desktop app (1.0.7), Discord now says "Listening to <artist>" under your name, with the song, its artwork and a progress bar that keeps time, like Spotify.
    • The song timer was missing before; it now shows, and it stays right when you pause, skip or seek.
  9. new

    The RPG goes 16-bit

    • A total makeover: pixel art for momo and friends, every monster and every item, pixel windows and menus, pixelated maps, and real 16-bit battle animations, from hit flashes and damage numbers to VICTORY! and LEVEL UP!
    • Levelling is slower and fairer: each level costs more than the last, and quests you've outgrown pay less XP. Levels were recalculated on the new curve.
    • A much bigger skill tree: nine steps per branch, forks at 4, 6 and 8, plus a wanderer branch every class can take.
    • Duels are ranked (both fighters at level 20, counts for Elo) or casual with /duel @name casual (any level, just for fun).
  10. new

    momo’s mini: a weekly crossword

    • A tiny 5×5 crossword under play, a new one every Monday and the same for everyone. Tap a square twice to switch between across and down.
    • Stuck? Check your letters. Solved? Copy your time (no answers in it) and share it in a chat.
  11. new

Find your Discord friends on yen

    • Explore has a new shelf, discord friends: the pages of people from your Discord servers, most shared servers first.
    • Only people who looked for their Discord friends too show up. Untick "people in my servers can find me" to hide yourself, or forget your servers entirely.
    • Signing in with Discord now also puts you in the yen.bio Discord server.
  12. new

momo helps you set up your page

    • New here? momo walks you through three quick things: a picture, one link and a song (a Spotify link or an mp3). Skip any of them.
    • If your page is still blank, your dashboard home offers the same walk-through.
  13. new

    Scrobble Listen to Last.fm

    • Connect Last.fm at the bottom of Listen, and what you play shows up on your Last.fm: "now playing" when a song starts, and a scrobble once you've heard half of it (or four minutes).
    • Pause it or disconnect any time from the same spot. Songs need an artist to be scrobbled.
  14. better

    Faster pages and smoother chats

    • Profile pages download about a quarter less, so they open faster, especially on phones.
    • Chats open quicker: each momo game loads when you play it, and the call screen loads when you call.
    • Scrolling a chat full of animated bubbles and name effects is smoother: the sparkle holds still while you scroll and picks back up when you stop.
  15. better

    Pages load lighter

    • Pages no longer download every profile font. A page asks only for the font it uses, up front, so its text shows in the right font straight away.
  16. fixed

Chats fit the Desktop theme’s window

    • Opening chats on a desktop, dock or top bar theme no longer pushes the chat list and header out of the window.
  17. fixed

Chats fit the screen again with a theme on

    • With a sidebar or floating theme, chats were taller than the window, so you had to scroll to reach the message box. They fit again.
  18. new

    The look gallery

    • Your closet has a look gallery now: outfits people shared, most worn first. Try one on to see it, then wear it if you love it.
    • Share one of your own outfits with the globe button on it. Tap again to take it back off; its code keeps working either way.
  19. better

Group calls hang up when everyone's gone

    • If everyone else leaves a group call, it ends itself after a minute, so you don't stay on the line (mic on) by accident.
    • A call nobody has picked up yet still rings for three minutes before it gives up.
  20. new

Vibe check: how well do two pages get on?

    • Go to yen.bio/vibe (or vibe check on Explore), put in two names, and get a score: your this-or-that answers side by side, songs, badges in common and how your colours go together.
    • Every vibe check has its own link (yen.bio/vibe/you/them) to share. It works with any two public pages.
  21. new

    Page of the week

    • Explore opens with a page of the week: a page worth a look, picked by the yen.bio team or, when they haven’t picked one, the page more people visited this week than any other (outside the all-time top three, so newer pages get their turn).
  22. new

An AniList card for your page

    • Add AniList under Customize → Extra sections: your page shows what you’re watching right now (covers, episode, a little progress bar), what you’re reading, and your totals.
    • Your AniList profile needs to be public.
  23. new

Rainy Room: the night room as your dashboard

    • A new official theme in Themes: the rainy window from the front page behind a floating glass sidebar, glass panels with a warm edge, lamplight pink, and a few stars. Try it on, or wear it in one tap.
  24. new

Show what you’re playing on your page

    • A new page section, Listening now, shows the song you’re playing in Listen, live, with your DJ booth mix (nightcore, slowed…). Add it under Customize → Extra sections.
    • It shows while Listen’s “show on my note” is on, and says it’s quiet when nothing’s playing.
  25. new

    Say what you’re up to

    • Your status menu has a line of your own now: an emoji and a few words, like “🎧 in the booth till late”.
    • It shows under the name at the top of your DMs for the people you chat with, and on your feed profile. Clear it with the little x.
  26. better

Listen together with your own songs

    • Listening together isn’t just search any more: pick from your songs (everything in your Listen, uploads included), or press “add a file” to put an mp3 from your computer on for everyone.
    • A file you add is saved to your Listen too, so it’s there next time.
  27. better

    A snappier yen.bio

    • The dashboard loads less code on every page when you wear a custom theme.
    • Open chats ask the server for new messages far less often when the live connection is healthy, instead of in bursts while a chat is busy.
    • Pages with an animated tab title or the matrix entrance stop doing work once there’s nothing left to animate, which helps phones and battery.
  28. better

A cuter listen bar you can move and pop out

    • The listen bar got cosier: the cover spins like a little record while it plays, notes drift off it, and momo sits on the corner bopping along (asleep when it’s paused).
    • Drag it anywhere by the little grip on top; it stays where you leave it. Double-click the grip to send it back to the corner.
    • On a computer in Chrome or Edge, the pop-out button moves the player into its own small window that stays on top of your other apps, so you can keep the music in reach with yen.bio in the background. Close that window to bring the bar back.
    • On a phone it sits above the tab bar instead of covering it.
