A cozier yumu mail

• Your mailbox got a makeover: fairy lights, a little mailbox on its post, and letters drifting by.
• New mail shows up as sealed envelopes with airmail stripes. Open one and it unseals, flips its flap and slides the letter out onto lined paper.
• Copying your address and starring a letter pop a few hearts, and the empty reading corner keeps a mug of cocoa warm while you pick.

The yumu Space link works

• yumu.lol/s/yumu opens the official yumu Space, and its old /yen link takes you there.

A tidier feed

• The feed gets to the posts sooner: sorting sits on the same line as the tabs.
• Likes, reposts and replies sit together under each post, with save and send at the far edge. On phones they always fit on one line.
• A single photo is framed to its own shape instead of sitting between black bars.
• Notifications are one tidy list, and each one shows the face of whoever it’s from.
• Empty trending and suggestion panels no longer take up room on the side.

Shorter Space links

• Space links are shorter now: yumu.lol/s/your-name. Links with /space/ in them still work and take you to the new one.
• The official yumu Space lives at yumu.lol/s/yumu.

What the verified check means

• The verified check is for notable people. Its card and the leaderboard now say so, instead of calling it just an identity check.

Connecting Discord adds you to the server again

• Connecting or logging in with Discord asks for permission to add you to the yumu server, and then does it.
• Already connected? Log in with Discord once more and approve the new permission to join.

iPhone app: a ten-band EQ, pitch, and island controls

• Now playing has a full equalizer next to momo’s booth. Pick a preset like bass boost or late night, or drag any of ten bands yourself, and watch the live spectrum move with the song.
• Change the pitch without changing the speed, for a deeper or higher voice.
• The Dynamic Island and lock screen show the album cover, and you can play, pause and skip from them without opening the app.

A nicer crest hover card

• Hovering a crest opens a cleaner card: a taller banner that fades into the card, a bigger emblem ringed in the crest colour, and a soft glow to match.
• The view button now sits beside the emblem, and the tag, member count and visibility share one line, so the description has more room.

Back for the first time since yen.bio became yumu?

• If your account is from the yen.bio days, the dashboard plays the new film once and walks you through what changed.
• Short version: you don’t have to do anything, and your yen.bio links still open your page.
• Like the old name better? Keep yen.bio with one tap, or switch your link’s domain any time in Settings.

A new 30-second tour on the home page

• The home page has a brand-new 30-second film: grab a name, build a page, flip through styles, post, chat, play tic-tac-toe and put your song on.
• The little objects around the home page are jelly sweets now, the same ones that fly through the film.

Cleaner name badges

• Names show one badge now: the verified check if someone is verified, otherwise the yumu pro star.
• Tap or hover a badge to see what it means.
• Both badges got a cleaner look, and the pro star shows its colors even at small sizes.
• The make a page button no longer pokes out of the menu bar when you scroll.

A new loading screen, and better previews

• The loading screen is new: momo hops while your page gets ready.
• Every style preview got redone, so you can see what a page really looks like before you pick one.
• Verified and yumu pro badges look sharp on your page again, with the check and the face showing.
• Type yumu.lol/yourname in a chat and it turns into a link.

Our Discord has a new home

• Every Discord link on the site now goes to discord.gg/yumu.

New badges, and statuses that clear themselves

• Verified has a new seal, and yumu pro has its own holo star next to your name in chats and on the feed.
• Don’t want one showing? Settings now has a switch for each badge you have.
• Setting a status is better: quick picks, your recent ones, and a preview of how it looks.
• Statuses can clear themselves after 30 minutes, an hour, four hours or at the end of your day.

The Discord bot’s cards, redrawn

• Profile, badges, leaderboard, listening now and welcome cards now look like the site: momo’s room behind calm panels, with the new yumu logo.
• Your badges show their real artwork, in the colours you picked and the order they sit on your page. Hidden badges stay hidden.
• Bigger text, so names, songs and numbers are easy to read at the size Discord shows them.

Premium is now yumu pro

• Premium has a new name: yumu pro. Everything you had on Premium is still yours, and nothing about your plan or your time changed.
• yumu pro has a new logo and a new badge, and its page moved to Dashboard → yumu pro. Old Premium links still take you there.
• The yumu pro page is now momo’s room. Your card is waiting on her bed, and the wall switch shows you the room on free or pro.
• Scroll down it and you can flip each perk on a real page, to see exactly what you’d get.

yen.bio is now yumu

• yen.bio is now yumu, and it lives at yumu.lol. Your page is at yumu.lol/you now.
• momo is the new logo.
• Your old yen.bio links still work, so nothing you shared breaks.
• Sign in once more on yumu.lol. Passkeys you made on yen.bio still work there in Chrome, Edge and Safari; in other browsers, sign in another way and add a new one.
• You can pick your mail domain in settings.

Bring back an earlier page

• Each publish now saves the page it replaces. Open page history in the editor to find your last 20 versions, from any device.
• Bring a version into your preview before publishing it. Undo brings your draft back; links and content blocks keep saving separately.
• History starts with your next publish. Earlier changes cannot be recovered.

Listen: lossless for Premium

• Premium members can turn on lossless in Listen. Tap the "hq" stamp under the booth and songs play in full CD quality where they have it.
• Songs without a lossless version keep playing at the usual quality, and switching mid-song picks up right where you were.

native phone app: profiles, stories, notes and the booth

Release candidate of the rebuilt phone app.

• Tap anyone to open their profile right in the app, with their posts, replies, reposts and likes, plus follow and message buttons.
• Watch stories full screen, see notes from the people you chat with, and leave a note of your own.
• Spaces open in the app with their rooms, so every chat stays native.
• momo’s booth on iPhone: bass, mid and treble, a filter sweep, echo, reverb and speed, all working in the background.
• Premium listeners can turn on lossless, and the player tells you when a song is really playing lossless.
• Synced lyrics in now playing, a new listen page, native settings, find people, a new opening screen, and a fresh sign-in.

native phone preview: a whole new look

Development checkpoint of the rebuilt phone app; not released yet.

• Home shows your real page in miniature with momo perched on top, plus your people and your latest chat.
• Messages, feed, and notifications are calmer to read, with tab counts, day dividers, and filters for mentions, follows, and yen.bio news.
• Now playing holds your song in a jewel case. Nightcore and slowed change the actual sound, and a sleep timer pauses music for you.
• Like, repost, save, and share posts, reply in place, and keep favorites and playlists in native screens.
• Sign out on this phone from your account sheet.

native phone preview: secure sign-in

Development checkpoint. Authentication still requires server deployment and physical-device verification.

• Email, Discord, and passkeys use a secure browser sign-in sheet and return to the native app.
• The welcome screen gives each sign-in method a clear place.

native phone preview: everyday fixes

Development checkpoint. Native device verification is still in progress.

• Notifications are marked read as you see them, with older pages available below.
• Listen search uses full-song streams, and playlist creation has a native form on Android and iPhone.
• Feed likes send the right state, and the post composer respects the character limit supplied by your feed.

native phone preview: a smoother way back

Development checkpoint. The native phone rebuild has not completed device verification or release.

• The native preview’s back button follows in-app web history before leaving the screen.

your chats keep their place

• Read markers keep the newest message you’ve seen, even when a slower request arrives from another device.

Momo’s shop sort menu no longer has a box around it

• The sort menu in momo’s shop (featured, price and so on) no longer shows a box when you select it.

Discord links and the music board stay in sync

• Welcome cards and the shared music board open registration and account linking correctly.
• The music board keeps using its existing post when the bot recovers its saved state.

a sticker desk for the Discord

• Show your page as a sticker card with live Discord status, music, views and badges. Open your chosen page domain or listen along on Spotify.
• Collect your badges on a sticker sheet and see the top ten pages on a pastel podium.
• The community bot can welcome new members with momo and keep a shared now-playing board up to date.
• Discord status and avatar decoration setup now point you to the yen.bio Discord. Join with the account shown on your page.

Pick your link’s domain

• Your page now also opens at yumu.lol/you and nimu.rip/you.
• Choose which one you share in Settings → your link. Your copy-link button and QR code use it.

Video calls

• Turn your camera on in a call with the new video button. Your face shows up live on your end of the string phone, and theirs on theirs.
• On a computer the same button asks whether to share your camera or your screen.
• Calls that used to get stuck on “linking up” between phones on strict networks now go through our own relay.
