october 13, 2026

  1. better

    RPG feels more alive

    • Fights shake on hits, meters spring, reward chips pop in, and heroes / monsters idle with a soft float.
    • The quest map, class picker, shop, bag, and leaderboard stagger in; battle and result panels transition cleanly.
    • Ranked arena pulses while searching, and shop / bag / equipped gear stay clean lists without nested boxes.
  2. new

Lock chats, clear with /clear, and more momo shortcuts

    • Group owners and admins can /lock a chat so only they can talk, and /unlock when it’s open again.
    • /clear works the same as /c (including /clear @name 50), and lots of commands now have short aliases like /bal, /flip, /bj, and /rain.
  3. better

RPG party pickers match the rest of the dashboard

    • On Dashboard → RPG, the group and quest menus when launching a party now use the same dark themed dropdowns as the rest of the sticker dashboard.
  4. better

Notes are easier to read and reply to

    • Notes now have a cleaner mobile-friendly strip, clearer unread styling, richer song previews, and a more focused editor that keeps the time left when you make a change.
    • Replies in chat now look like the note they came from, including song artwork and artist details when available.
  5. better

    /pet shows the whole family

    • The /pet card now shows both the owner and co-parent, with a clearer Momo portrait, happiness meter, and outfit details.
  6. new

    The RPG realm grew

    • Follow a four-chapter quest path with new monsters, loot, battle backgrounds, status effects, guard timing, and clear enemy warnings.
    • Spend RPG gold on healing supplies, complete a deterministic daily bounty, and compare your rating, level, and wins on the realm leaderboard.
    • Start a party dungeon from the RPG dashboard by choosing one of your groups, then jump straight into its existing Messages dungeon lobby.
  7. fixed

    Listen fits together better

    • Listen now sits beside the sidebar without the extra empty gutter, record labels stay readable, and the house pick appears in Now Playing like every other song.
    • Scrub through songs, adjust volume, reorder your playlist, and fix a song title or artist right from Listen.
    • The mini player now shows progress, and keyboard or headset media controls work while you move around the dashboard.
  8. fixed

Cursor effects keep up in Customize

    • Trying a cursor effect in your live preview is smoother and follows your pointer more closely, especially in the desktop preview.
  9. better

Yaps are Posts again — and they preview in chat

    • The feed calls them Posts again everywhere (compose, menus, empty states, share text).
    • When someone sends you a yen.bio post link in chat, it opens as a little card with the author and a snippet — tap to read the full post.
  10. new

Listen is your own playlist now

    • Upload mp3, m4a, or wav files to Play → Listen and build a playlist of full songs — no more random 30-second chart previews.
    • Music keeps playing when you switch to Messages, Customize, or anywhere else in the dashboard (a little bar sticks around so you can pause or jump back).
    • This week’s house pick (vests by twikipedia) is still there as a full-song bonus.
  11. better

Username changes keep your old link

    • Your one free username change now keeps the old @ as an alias when you have a free slot, so yen.bio/oldname still opens your page.
    • Your Settings @ and your live page always update together, and capitals in the URL don’t matter.
  12. new

Upload your own song on notes and stories

    • In the song picker for a note or story, tap Upload to add an mp3, m4a, or wav from your device.
    • Drag the clip window to pick up to 30 seconds from anywhere in your file — same control as catalog previews.
  13. new

    Send songs in chat

    • Attach an mp3, m4a, wav, or similar audio file from the photo button in DMs and groups — it shows up as a playable song with the file name, not a voice note.
    • Forwarding keeps the song title. Chat previews say 🎵 plus the name so you can tell songs apart from voice messages.
  14. new

A bigger music library — and Songs of the Week

    • Stories and notes share one song library: search any track, or browse top songs and genres. Pick the bit of the ~30-second preview you want with a clip window.
    • Notes no longer need a Spotify paste — add a song from the same picker, with the same clip control.
    • New Play → Listen page: this week’s pick is vests by twikipedia on a spinning vinyl, plus chart tastes. Only one thing plays at a time across yen.bio (stories, notes, chat previews, voice notes, your page song, and Listen all yield to each other).
  15. better

Typed the wrong email while signing up?

    • On the “check your email” screen after sign-up, tap “typed the wrong email?” to send the verification link to a different address — no need to make a new account.
    • Forgot-password’s “check your email” screen has a “try again” if you mistyped that address too.
  16. better

Handle rarity is about the handle, not just its length

    • Length no longer locks a handle to a tier. Any handle of four characters or more can reach Epic on quality: clean words like @diva, @magic or @1000 and everyday words like @dragon, @morning or @lightning are Epic now, where before nothing longer than five characters could pass Rare.
    • Three-character words and patterns (@sky, @ace, @zzz) can reach Mythic. One-character handles are still always Legendary, and nothing four characters or longer can be Mythic or Legendary.
    • Random strings and number tags sink harder whatever their length, and “Why this rank?” on your profile and in the market explains the new ceiling for each handle.
  17. better

Gift and trade dialogs, in the sticker look

    • The Gift and Trade sheets on Dashboard → Inventory match the rest of the dashboard now: the handle on a sticker, momo in the corner, a clearer confirm step that shows both @s, pick-a-chip for their aliases, and Enter / Esc work.
  18. fixed

Inviting by @ finds short handles and aliases

    • Co-parent invites, alias gifts and username trades said “No account with that @.” for one-letter handles and for anyone you typed by an alias. Any @ a person owns works now.
  19. new

Raising a Momo is a real routine now

    • Your Momo has three needs — fullness, energy and fun — that drift on their own; happiness is what they add up to. She won’t eat when she’s full or play when she’s sleepy, so read her meters.
    • Feed picks one of six snacks, play picks one of four toys (active ones burn more energy), and a new tuck in puts her down for a 90-minute nap that refills energy.
    • Every day she secretly favours one snack and one toy. You get a hint (“something sweet”) — guess right for bonus affection and XP.
    • A shared visit streak: the first care each day earns coins (more each day, a bonus every 7th), and levelling up pays 100 coins — spend them in momo’s wardrobe.
    • Bond tiers (just met → soulmates) grow with affection, and she talks back after every visit.
  20. new

Dress your Momo: hats and outfits in momo’s shop

    • momo’s shop has a new shelf, momo’s wardrobe: five hats (cozy beanie, froggy hat, wizard hat, flower crown, little crown) and five outfits (comfy hoodie, sailor collar, denim overalls, bow tie and tux, hero cape) for your raised Momo, paid in coins.
    • Try anything on your own Momo right in the shop, wear it with one tap, or swap looks in the new wardrobe panel on Dashboard → Pets. Either parent can dress a shared Momo with what they own.
    • Her look follows her everywhere: the Pets page, your public profile card, and /pet in chats.
    • Staff Momos get a rack of their own — a radiant halo, an aurora crown, starlight wings and the staff mantle — animated, never for sale.
  21. better

    Spaces discover, redrawn

    • Dashboard → Spaces has a new look: a sliding tab for featured / trending / active / for you, search and categories in one toolbar, a bigger “tonight’s pick”, and a card grid where every space gets its own colour band.
    • Placeholder cards while it loads, a clear-filters shortcut, and a sad momo when nothing matches your search.
  22. better

Events shows only what’s live or finished

    • Dashboard → Events no longer lists seasons that haven’t started yet — they appear the day they go live.
  23. new

RPG gets sticker heroes and monsters

    • Each class is one of momo’s friends (sol, juno, kai, mika, or momo), and every quest foe is a drawn sticker — slime, wolf, bandit, wisp, golem, hydra — on Dashboard → RPG and in fights.
  24. better

Momo care has a rest between visits

    • Feed, play, and pet each cool down on their own clock (a few hours) — shared with your co-parent — so Raise a Momo isn’t an infinite clicker. Buttons show when each one’s ready again.
  25. better

    Hide a Space’s banner strip

    • In a Space, tap the chevron on the banner to tuck away the banner, member faces, and description. “Show space banner” brings it back — remembered on this device per Space.
  26. new

    Show your Momo in chat

    • Type /pet in any chat to post a sticker of your raised Momo — look, name, level, and mood. Care still lives on Dashboard → Pets.
  27. new

    Ranked arena queue

    • From Dashboard → RPG, tap Find ranked match to queue for a duel near your Elo and level (within 10). When someone pairs, it opens a DM fight that counts on the ladder — /duel @friend still works for challenges.
  28. new

    Seasonal Momo coats

    • During each hunt, Raise a Momo unlocks a limited coat — pumpkin for Halloween, frost for Christmas, blossom for Easter, and sol for Summer. Equip them while the event is live; if you’re already wearing one when it ends, it stays.
  29. better

    Live scarcity on handle grades

    • Inventory and the market now factor in how many handles of that length are already taken on yen.bio — a soft nudge on top of the usual length + quality grade, not a rewrite of the ranks.
  30. better

    Staff tools for handle disputes

    • Admins can look up ownership history and open trades on a handle, void a stuck trade, or reassign an alias after a confirmed dispute — all passkey-gated and audit-logged.
